Olivia and Gus’s St. Louis wedding was the kind of day that stays with you long after the last song plays—sweet, joyful, and filled with moments that felt deeply intentional from start to finish. From heartfelt vows at Graham Chapel to a high-energy reception at the Missouri Athletic Club, every part of their celebration reflected who they are at their core: genuine, loving, and completely present with one another.

Olivia and Gus first met at a mutual friend’s wedding in Mexico—talk about a romantic and chance beginning. At the time, Olivia was living in Chicago and Gus was playing professional baseball with the LA Dodgers. Not long after, Gus was traded to the Chicago White Sox, bringing them to the same city and allowing their relationship to truly grow.
When these two are together, it feels like they’re the only people in the room. Their connection is magnetic, and everyone around them feels it. That deep love and affection carried through every moment of their wedding day.

The morning began at Hotel Saint Louis, a location chosen intentionally to honor the city that means so much to them. Olivia spent the morning with her mom, Paige—who played a big role in planning—soaking in those special moments before the day unfolded.
There were emotional first looks with Olivia’s brother and dad, while Gus and his groomsmen signed baseballs during their getting-ready time—a fun nod to Gus’s career and friendships.

Their ceremony took place at Graham Chapel, a timeless and elegant venue that set the stage for deeply personal vows. Happy tears flowed freely as Olivia and Gus promised forever, and it was impossible not to feel the weight and beauty of that moment.

Their design blended classic black and white with cheerful pops of pink. The wedding party complemented the palette beautifully, with the guys in black suits and the girls in dusty rose satin dresses.

One of my favorite design details was their custom St. Louis Arch watercolor, which appeared on both their invitations and seating chart—a thoughtful tribute to the city where they tied the knot.
The overall aesthetic felt timeless, fresh, and full of personality.

The Missouri Athletic Club was the perfect setting for their reception—elegant, lively, and full of history. Each set of parents gave heartfelt toasts that had guests laughing one moment and wiping tears the next. The love between these families truly filled every corner of the room.

And then there was the dance floor.
It was SO fun.
Olivia did the splits, Gus showed off some impressive moves, and The Lustre Lights brought nonstop energy. It was one of those crowds where everyone shows up fully—and you could feel the joy radiating through the space.

Olivia and Gus originally booked us for wedding coordination, then upgraded to Partial Planning and added their rehearsal dinner and welcome party. Getting to support them across multiple events allowed us to create a cohesive, stress-free experience from start to finish.
One detail they cared deeply about? Espresso martinis at cocktail hour. Since the venue didn’t have martini glasses, I handled renting, transporting, and returning the glassware so their drinks could be served exactly how they envisioned. We also sourced a special linen for their King’s Table and took care of setup and breakdown—allowing Olivia and Gus to simply enjoy their day.

What stood out most wasn’t just one moment—it was how present Olivia and Gus were all day long. From their vows to the dance floor, they soaked in every second together. The joy was palpable, and being part of their celebration was an absolute honor.
As Olivia’s mom Paige shared:
“She takes care of every detail so that everyone can just show up and enjoy the day… she’s the one who will allow you to ENJOY your wedding, and that’s priceless.”
