Caroline and Kolton’s Union Station Hotel St Louis wedding was one for the books. Think curated style, guest-focused details, and a whole lot of personal meaning wrapped up in one beautiful September day. From the first call I had with them, I could tell this was going to be a celebration full of heart.
These two started their relationship as a long-distance couple, hopping trains to see each other whenever they could. So when it came time to choose a venue, the historic Union Station Hotel in Saint Louis — once a bustling train station — wasn’t just gorgeous, it was symbolic. It was like their story had come full circle.
We woke up to the kind of September weather you dream about: sunny, breezy, and just warm enough. Caroline slipped into a dreamy lace gown with a unique waistline, while her bridesmaids wore soft green Lula Kate dresses that echoed the Grand Hall’s ceiling. Kolton and his guys looked effortlessly sharp in Michael Andrew’s Bespoke suits. The whole wedding party felt like an extension of the venue itself — classic but with their own twist.
After an easy, joy-filled morning of getting ready, everyone headed to Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church for a heartfelt ceremony surrounded by family, florals, and lots of happy tears.
Caroline and Kolton didn’t just want a pretty day; they wanted their guests to feel thought-of at every turn. When guests walked into the Grand Hall at Union Station Hotel Saint Louis, they were greeted by custom matchbooks, signature drinks, escort cards, and signage — all perfectly color-matched to the space. The seating chart was even wallpapered to tie in with their paper goods (yes, it was as gorgeous as it sounds).
One of my favorite parts? Helping them execute a signature scent for the day. We placed curated perfumes in the bathrooms and candles at the bar so the whole event felt immersive — a little detail that guests are still talking about.
Dinner was served under that iconic soaring ceiling, and then Caroline and Kolton blew everyone away with a choreographed first dance. You could feel the entire room gasp and then cheer — it was such a fun way to kick off the party. Fat Pocket kept the dance floor packed all night, and tray-passed Ted Drewe’s and their photobooth added to the energy.
Behind the scenes, my team and I handled the timeline and vendor coordination so these two could actually enjoy their party without worrying about a thing — fresh drinks, food, and all.
Caroline and Kolton’s Union Station Hotel St Louis wedding was the perfect blend of personal story, gorgeous design, and guest experience.
