The Coronado wedding for Hannah and Dylan was one of those days that reminds me exactly why I love planning weddings—thoughtful details, meaningful traditions, and a room full of guests who could feel the intention behind every choice.
From start to finish, this St. Louis celebration unfolded as a candlelit, romantic, and truly luxurious experience inside one of the city’s most iconic venues.

Hannah and Dylan chose The Coronado for both their ceremony and reception, and it was the perfect canvas for their vision. Known for its historic charm and dramatic architecture, The Coronado offers a timeless elegance that instantly elevates any wedding day. The ceremony space was filled with light, creating a bright and airy atmosphere that felt warm and inviting as guests arrived.
One of the most meaningful moments happened right at the start: both Hannah and Dylan were walked down the aisle by their parents. It was a beautiful nod to family and set an emotional, heartfelt tone for the rest of the day.

This wedding was rich with tradition. Hannah and Dylan signed a Ketubah and exchanged vows beneath a Chuppah, honoring their Jewish heritage in a way that felt deeply personal. These moments were quiet, intentional, and powerful—exactly the kind of experience they wanted to share with their loved ones.
Everything about this day was designed with their guests in mind. Hannah and Dylan are incredibly thoughtful people, and that showed in every decision they made. They wanted their guests to feel welcomed, surprised, and cared for—and they absolutely delivered.

Fashion played a big role in the overall look and feel of the day. Hannah wore a stunning, intricately detailed gown that allowed her to move freely and stay present throughout every moment. No heavy train, no fuss—just elegance and ease. Dylan and the groomsmen wore classic black tuxes, while the bridesmaids matched in sleek black dresses, creating a cohesive and timeless aesthetic.
The color palette was intentionally simple: classic black and white. The real star of the design? Candles. And lots of them.

As the ceremony transitioned into cocktail hour and reception, The Coronado wedding space transformed completely. What began as a light-filled ceremony evolved into a romantic, candlelit evening that took everyone’s breath away.
Guests were welcomed into the reception with an immediate sense of awe—and that moment stands out as one of my favorites from the day. The glow of candlelight against The Coronado’s dramatic interiors created an atmosphere that felt intimate, luxurious, and unforgettable.

Hannah and Dylan went above and beyond when it came to guest experience. Instead of a traditional seating chart, they created a custom seating chart wall that held handwritten letters to each guest. Each note doubled as a place card, guiding guests to their seats while making them feel incredibly special.
Personal touches were everywhere. Their dog, Reggie, made an appearance on drink stirrers, cocktail napkins, and matchbooks—bringing smiles all around. Mirror menus at each place setting added another layer of elegance and reflected the candlelight beautifully.

The reception followed an “East Coast” style flow, with dancing woven between dinner courses, toasts, and special dances. It kept the energy high and the evening feeling dynamic. The dance floor came alive during the Horah, when Hannah and Dylan were lifted in chairs, surrounded by cheering guests and pure joy.
It was one of those nights where time seemed to fly—in the very best way.

Helping plan and execute Hannah and Dylan’s day was an honor, and this The Coronado wedding perfectly showcases how meaningful design, intentional planning, and a strong focus on guest experience can come together seamlessly. From tradition to design to atmosphere, every moment told their story.
