Christmas Engagement Styled Shoot

First off: Congratulations to all those who have recently gotten engaged! It is proposal season now and we are brimming with happiness over our new and future couples and clients. I can honestly say, now having the experience, that a proposal is one of the best moments in life. To see the one you love get down on one knee asking you to spend forever with him…well, there really is no comparison.

Secondly: Merry Christmas from everyone here at Allyssa Elaine Events to you and your families! We hope it is a wonderful and special time of year for all of you and that new memories are created and old traditions are cherished.

So in the spirit of the holidays and exciting engagement season, we put together a Christmas-inspired styled engagement shoot!

On an unusually warm December day, photographer Haley Nicole and I drove out to Life Lessons Ranch for a styled engagement session. We used their surrounding pine trees to hang red and green ornaments and livened up the space with all things Christmas. It’s really all in the details: green pine-tree scented candles, velvet horses, a plush red blanket, Santa cookies, and of course flavored hot chocolate with snow white marshmallows.
