Adam & Kelly: Married

Oh, where to begin? Kelly & Adam have the kind of connection, love, and happiness that everyone dreams about. A relationship built on Christ and trust that is not easily broken. Their day (and leading up to it) was such a joy to be part of. Looking through the pictures taken by Kara Volle Photography, I realize how special this day was all over again.

My main job for the day was coordinating the ceremony. I also had to make sure that Adam didn’t get a sneak peek of Kelly before she walked down the aisle! I got to spend a little quality time with the guys and girls as they prepared for the big moment and it was simply wonderful.

Kelly’s 1st and 2nd grade class helped write a letter to her groom, “How to be a Good Husband to Miss Kremer.” How adorably unique is that?

A lot of the bridal party and attendants I had known from a previous wedding last May. That’s what happens when people form a bond that creates close and lasting relationships! It is so much fun to witness a previous groom rooting on the next one and the same core group of individuals standing by each other through life.

After the bride was in her gorgeous lace gown, it was time for a first look with two of three most important men in her life… her dad and brother.

The Kremer family has come to mean so much to me just in the few months that I’ve known them. Not only was I able to be part of Kelly’s special day, but I’ll be helping her brother Jake and his fiancé Lea for their wedding in May! They are the sweetest and I’m so blessed by their genuine natures and godliness. Kara will also be their photographer so we’re a dream team in the making!

After a relaxing morning, it was time… we lined the bridal party up and tucked Kelly away as we started the ceremony.

As part of their ceremony, Kelly and Adam took communion together. I love how symbolic this act is… of the sacrifice of Christ, His love for us, and how we can mirror that love in marriage and the church. It is the perfect way to begin your lives as husband and wife.

After hugs, kisses, and well wishes…it was time for some fun! Kara took the bridal party around the campus of Washington University and Old Hickory for some fun photography. (Fun Fact: I matched the bridesmaids that day in my own black-and-white dress.)

Seriously, how fun does this bridal party look?? (A lot, by the way.)

Since I was only there for the beautiful ceremony, I did not get to witness the reception. But from the looks of it, it was a blast and truly representative of Kelly & Adam! I hope you enjoy these pictures like I did..

Congratulations Mr & Mrs Newell! I pray that you have a lifetime of love, happiness, and faith. Best wishes on all of your adventures together!
